RoofKleen is an eco-friendly roof cleaning chemical that is one of our remarkable range of exterior cleaning chemicals and ideal for cleaning slate, clay tiles and concrete tiles. Environmentally friendly and entirely safe for tradespeople and nearby personnel, pets and plants, this is a non-toxic and non-hazardous roof tile cleaner.
Available in 20 litre containers, persons using the RoofKleen roof cleaning solution do not need any PPE and it is odourless, pH neutral, with no acids, no caustic alkalis, no biocides, no bleach, or sodium hypochlorite solution.
Also ideal as a cladding cleaner, the chemical is delivered at ready-to-use dilution but if the job you are on does not have very heavy soiling you can water it down as well. Another great feature of RoofKleen is that surfaces treated with it tend to resist fresh build up of algae and soiling because the surface is left very clean.
How Does It Work?
This certified food-safe roof cleaning solution works by using nano-size energy packages which break the surface tension between dirt and the substrate to lift off the soiling. This is in complete contrast to the majority of roof cleaning chemicals that rely on sodium hypochlorite (bleach) or biocides that aim to kill the green growth.
This innovative approach to cleaning is a UK invention and the product is made in the UK. By using this unique formulation, we can offer a genuinely all-natural and very safe roof cleaning chemical that is powerful and indeed is even safe if it gets in to a water course.
With many cleaning agents the large particles are removed from the substrate, but smaller ones are left. Because of the penetration of the nanoenergy particles, this cleaner liberates much more soiling and thus leaves a super-clean surface. Non-toxic, and non-hazardous, this product is even certified as food safe, and is also safe to use near a water course.

Use of a pressure washer can be helpful to assist the cleaning action of the agent and remove loosened dirt or just a garden hose or similar. Apply the roof cleaner solution by pouring, with a brush, or from a low-pressure sprayer, saturate the surface well and then agitate with a brush.
On cladding spraying works well and the cleaning benefits from more than one coat, ideally wait half an hour to an hour before rinsing off the dirt. Please watch our simple guide video on how to apply cleaner.
